Getting Here

We are located in the heart of Glencoe Village, just off the A82 and close to the dramatic glen itself. If you are driving, look out for our Brown Tourist Signs as you approach Glencoe Village. Please use the carpark at the entrance to the village. There are also daily Citylink buses from both Edinburgh and Glasgow, and frequent local buses running between Glencoe, Fort William and Oban. We are a 5 minute walk from the village car park and bus stop along a quiet, pretty street.

We have a small gift shop selling Scottish and locally-made crafts, jams, candles, tartans, magnets, soaps, jewellery, books and more. We also stock a variety of local interest pamphlets written by our founder, Barbara Fairweather.

Public toilets and a car park can be found at the end of the Glencoe Village road, a 5 minute walk from the museum. (Please don't park outside our neighbours' houses - the street is narrow and can quickly become congested.) Disabled parking is available directly outside the museum. We provide FREE WiFi to visitors! Dogs are welcome.

Due to the nature of the building, access is limited. Please see our Accessibility Report or contact us for more information.
