Highland Archaeology Festival 2017
30th September -15th October
Glencoe Folk Museum will be taking part in the Highland Archaeology Festival this year along with many other museums and organisations across the Highlands. The HAF takes place from the 30th September - 15th October 2017, and features a wide array of events celebrating Highland heritage, history and archaeology.
As well as visiting exhibitions and taking part in events, you can participate by following the Object Trail. Visit each participating museum to see their special HAF 2017 object, and receive a stamp on the passport included in the Highland Archaeology Festival brochure or on the HAF website at www.highlandarchaeologyfestival.org. There is a prize for the most stamps, so get visiting!
We will be offering HALF-PRICE entry to the museum for HAF passport holders from the 9th-15th October.
You can also pick up an 'I-Spy Archaeology!' Activity Sheet from the museum on any day of the festival (or download using the icon on the right) and see what you can find around the local area. Return your form to us to claim your certificate!
Finally, come along to our free soap-carving workshop on Saturday 14th October and create your very own Ballachulish Goddess!
