Glencoe village lies close to the shores of Loch Leven at the foot of the famous Glen Coe, hemmed in on all sides by mountain peaks over 3000 feet or 1000 metres high which combine to make the area  especially scenic. Glencoe is a popular destination for lovers of all outdoor activities, mountaineers, hill walkers, cyclists etc. Glencoe Village Nearby there are hotels, guest houses and B&B accommodation, a campsite and hostel, places to eat, a general store and a craft shop. There are some intersting short walks in the vicinity and plenty of lovely spots to do nothing and just soak up the atmosphere.
