'Highland Doctor - a local pioneer in medicine'
Display of medical equipment, costume, photographs, documentation.
Dr Lachlan Grant of Ballachulish is now nationally recognised for his
contribution to improving medical care in the Highlands and to the
establishment of the National Health Service. As local doctor during the
1903 'Ballachulish Lockout' Dr Grant improved the living and working lives
of local working people and raised important issues for medical
professionals and politicians. See original items from his consulting room.

To reflect the royal weddings this year we are again showing items from our
dress collection. If you are intending to visit the museum we would love if
you brought a copy of a picture of your own wedding dress-
'WW2'
Display of uniforms, medals, gas masks, ration cards, security passes,
household items, documents and photographs from the local area.
